SyncPointFlow is a solo developer dedicated to building software that puts users in control of their own data. I believe that encryption should be the default, not an afterthought. Privacy is a fundamental right, not a feature to be sold.
In a world where screenshots, documents, and sensitive images are constantly being accumulated and synced to cloud services without real security, I built VantageVault as a direct response. Every image you store should be yours alone to control. No AI training on your data. No unauthorized access. No surveillance.
I literally cannot read your data. Your encryption keys are derived from your password on your device. Encryption happens before any data leaves your machine. I only store ciphertext that requires your password to decrypt.
VantageVault is built on proven, open-source cryptographic libraries. I use Tesseract for OCR, Fernet for symmetric encryption, and PBKDF2 for key derivation. Every architectural decision is defensible and auditable.
I'm active in the security and privacy communities and contribute back to the open-source projects that make VantageVault possible. Users directly shape the roadmap — your feedback is the only roadmap that matters.
Privacy by Default: I don't collect data I don't need. I don't sell user information. I don't track behavior. Period.
Transparency: I'm open about what data I collect, how it's stored, and who can access it. My privacy policy and security architecture are clearly documented so you always know exactly what VantageVault does with your data.
Accessibility: Privacy shouldn't be expensive or complicated. VantageVault is free forever for the core tier. No paywalls for security.
Longevity: I'm in this for the long term. No venture capital pressure to monetize at any cost. I'm funded by the community and committed to sustainable, ethical growth.
Desktop Application: Python 3.11+ with CustomTkinter for native Windows UI
Encryption: cryptography library (AES-256-Fernet, PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256)
OCR: Tesseract v5 local processing
Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL + PostgREST)
API Security: HuggingFace Proxy with custom authentication
Website: Vanilla HTML/CSS/JavaScript (no tracking, no framework overhead)
VantageVault is currently a one-person operation. I handle everything, security architecture, backend infrastructure, the desktop client, community support, and everything in between. That's not a weakness, it means every decision is made with a single priority in mind: building something I'd trust with my own data.
Designing and building VantageVault from the ground up, security architecture, Supabase infrastructure, API security, the native Windows client, and everything in between. Every layer, every decision, one developer.
This website uses no tracking or analytics cookies. I don't use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other analytics service. I don't build user profiles. The only cookies used are functional, authentication tokens to keep you logged in and a CDN request for fonts. When you visit vantagevault.dev, I'm not tracking your behaviour or building a profile on you.
The VantageVault core tier is free and will always remain free. My business model is simple: if I offer a Pro tier in the future for users who want more storage, a portion of that revenue funds continued development and security audits. I'm not beholden to investors or venture capitalists. I'm beholden to my users.
Whether you're a cryptographer, developer, designer, or privacy advocate, I'd love to have you involved. Join the Discord, report security issues, contribute code, or just use VantageVault and tell me what you think.
